I'm starting a publishing project called Avatar Artists which may grow into a music label of the same name. Actual musicians will publish their works under the names of fictional characters in broader narratives. These narratives may take the form of novels, graphic novels, film, or internet based media. Thus, the fictional characters may be thought of as avatars for the actual musicians (or the other way around). The goal is to combine new musical art with literary, graphic and film art in a synergism that enhances all contributions. Hopefully, this will grow into a popular approach helping musicians, writers, graphic artist, and others
I recently joined DA. I am a musician, engineer, writer(hobby) and lover of all art. I also have a professional interest in aviation. So far, I am very pleased with the content and organization of this site. I am deeply moved to see so many talented people sharing their work and thoughts freely. While I have never seen any work of human hands that can rival the beauty of nature, it is through sharing our art that we lend each other our eyes, that all may see more than any one could alone. I probably won't contribute many images to this site (certainly no great art), but I hope that a few thoughtful words here and there will be of some
